Though its pretty much old news, the official announcement came today:

"Though the deal occurred many weeks ago, Solid State Records has now officially acknowledged the signing of Kernersville, North Carolina band Advent. The hardcore/metal outfit features three members of defunct group Beloved. Their Solid State debut, titled "Remove The Earth," will hit stores on February 12th. You can hear a song from the effort online right now."

its completely awesome for them (these guys came and played our CD release show with us if you made it out), but at the same time it kind of sucks because one of the main reasons Beloved broke up was that Joe wasnt going to have time to be in a signed and touring band after getting married. And as much as Advent is one of the most brutal live bands ive seen, I definitely miss Beloved.

but i think originally they were thinking of having kids soon, dont forsee that in the near future now hehe.
