my friend had it back in the early-mid 90's as a shareware/trial

it was a 3 vs 3 tank game in which you and two other friends scooted around (very slowly) trying to kill the other 3 tanks. after a few rounds or so you got to buy upgrades

I had that Tank game on my old Texas Instruments computer, that was pretty dang fun. I bet that thing still works too, I should look into that.

jk on that, but seriously- it's not that tanks game in which you trade blows, it's real time. and it's overhead view, not side. it's similar to what msb2ncsu posted, but this was for pc and featured the gray background
