But only some of them work.
I'm pretty sure it's the jacks along the wall by the elevators on the odd-numbered floors. I know on the 5th and 3rd that those work, because I used to use those with my old laptop.
You *might* be able to use a port in the college of textile's library. There are jacks along the outer wall of 4404 (main lab in the 4th floor)

thx ambrose, i seemed to remember that some of them worked, but wasn't sure which ones, so elevator wall on odd floors eh? that's not random at all.....
^haha, already tried that, it doesn't work, some network security bs i'm sure, i can't get an ip address assigned to my comp.

Go to the computer that it was plugged into, get the needed addresses and subnet masks, etc, etc. Put those on your computer, then try it. 12/11/2007 2:42:26 PM |
