for some reason, my gmail page takes for fucking ever to load. every other site i visit is quick as hell. it's been like this for about 3 weeks now. i are tired of it.

and no, i don't have a virus protection right now. seems like that would fuck my whole operation, though, and not just gmail.

try deleting your cache

have you tried with different browsers? like IE, Firefox, Opera?

try re-installing or updating your browser.

gmail uses ajax which sometimes has strange behaviors.

maybe the browser's credit protection has gone bad

to clear the cache:

Internet Explorer: Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files

Firefox: Tools, Clear Private Data

The Firefly/YSlow extension for Firefox fucks GMail up royally. If you're running them, set them to disable for the gmail site.
