like people you study around, or a friend that studies well when you study or vice versa?

I study well with datman he's biology and I'm engineering. So I never have to stop and ask him for help and vice versa. I usually get a lot done because I don't feel like talking to him most of the time.

yeah seriously...unless it's a question of how to do a certain kind of problem, there's no way these groups are learning as efficiently as they would if they just sat down and started memorizing

i sometimes study with ppl in my classes ... its helpful when i have projects and such, or just get stuck on something in general. (not a friend in particular tho)

^ i've always thought the same thing. then again, seems like a lot of people care more about hanging out than getting shit done

I study well with a friend of mine - we quiz each other sometimes, but this semester she's proven much smarter than I! There is a group of 3-4 people I have been lucky enough to get paired up with this whole semester and we cut up part of the time, but we always manage to get all our stuff done. But we are also really close friends.

the reason i like collaborative work is if theres a particular concept i'm weak on i can learn that and then know what i already know and get a's

Groups or individual buddies are great for bouncing ideas off of. Sometimes, they may be looking at it from a different perspactive than I am - we sort it out, learn from it, and decide what to do from there. I love learning, so the more we talk about perspectives, opinions, and facts - the happier I am!

when i'm with the lady friend i'm so much more productive.

i donno what it is, my mind just relaxes and i'm able to focus 100% on what i'm doing. no dickin around on tww or thinkin about other stuff, it's complete devotion to my work.

then when it's time to take a break you can have fun fast, then dive back into the studyin.

I had a study group from probably sophomore year all the way to graduation. I probably wouldn't have done nearly as good without it. One time we were studying in the BAR and some asshats were watching Underworld and they had the nerve to come over and tell us to keep the noise down because we were "studying too loudly". So SilverSurfer started howling like a werewolf to piss them off.
