Right now we are getting freezing rain... it's not even cool.

Took me about 10 minutes to chip the ice off my windshield when I got off work and it feels like walking on glass.

And I wanted to go out tonight.

Your enjoyment of the snow is inversely proportional to the amount of time you spend driving/walking in it.

pssh you fuckers on the great lakes don't get real snow.

real snow is when each shovelful weighs as much as a six gallon jug of water.

Snow would be awesome if they installed heating systems under the roads and sidewalks.

Yeah the ones that plow the roads are bigger, but it isn't that uncommon for personal plows you fucking know it all asswipe. I'm from upstate NY and I've seen a lot of people plow with smaller old SUVs like Wranglers, Cherokees, Bronco IIs, Blazers.

trick to never need to shovel the drive again - buy a plow and BACK into your garage you can just step on the gas to get out

Freezing rain is melting now, leaving behind a horrible slush. It's heavy and hard to shovel/plow.

I can't wait to live somewhere without this crap.

I'm in Marquette, Michigan, on the Upper Peninsula. While the town of Marquette had 100 inches of snow last year, up the hill the NWS office had 230 inches. Yikes!!

side streets, esp when you have to stop every block, are a pain in the ass

but the 400-block streets/major arterials seem to be ok

that is what he was talking about there genius. Lake effect snow is generally light and fluffy. Systems that don't draw their moisture from the lakes produce snow that's wet and heavy.
