Around 3:00 they pulled someone over for going 59. She was actually going about 37. The officer graciously reduced the ticket to 49 in a 35.
If her speedometer's off, it's not by much. Officers are trained to estimate speed by eye a whole lot more accurately than that. I think we can conclude this guy's judgment is a little off today, and it would be best to just avoid him.
So, if you have to drive on Lake Dam today, keep it to 5 to 10 UNDER unless you want trouble.
