What a bunch of bs. This Ken Pom guy has us going 14-16. What does he update his predictions after every game? Anyway how can you post a link to this retard's site in good confidence? I thought this web site was for State fans/students/supporters, not spies from UNC.

not really. it actually says we're morelikely to lose those than win them. chances are though that we'll win some of them.

^^and again, he uses a straight formula. yeah he makes the formula. and of course he updates the results every day with updated stats from each team. that's how the formula works. it's an interesting thing to look at. i know it's no better than any other prediction. but looking at purely our stats versus theirs, we don't look nearly so bad.

Alright I guess I can understand that, I assumed he was picking the games based on his own expertise. However, imo, if this site is using a formula, etc. it is more or less irrelevant at this point in the season; we are going to look terrible compared to other acc schools for our losses to uno, ecu and blowout at msu. Most other schools in our conference would not have lost to uno or ecu or are playing patsies which do not expose their weaknesses. Our team this year is better than last year personnel-wise, it just has not gelled yet. Once the ACC season starts there will be a real basis for comparison.
Side note: Villanova has poor schedule strength so far but has only lost to us. Pom gives them rank of 63 while rpi has them at 32, AP at 20 and Coaches poll at 16. Granted their only quality win is GMU. Also Pom puts UNC in its rightful rank in his poll at 14.
