Dead and not performing anymore: While I have it on DVD, I would have liked to have seen a full on Rat Pack show back in their heydey in Vegas

alive, but not really a show you can see anymore: anywhere in the Bronx back in the 1970s, when DJ Kool Herc was throwin down breakbeats and birthing hiphop

alive but not really together: Agreed. ^^ Tribe at the MM release would have been incredible

alive but not a band anymore: I always loved going to see Cast Iron Filter at the Pour House back in like 00-03, before they separated

alive and still performing: Little brother anytime they go on tour...

luckily ive gotten to see most of the bands i would want to see but the ones i havent gotten to see are all so different live I couldnt just pick one (besides maybe Queen) that I would want to see more than the others. the slimmest i could make my list would probably be:

i saw asmz play in the sanctuary at the first unitarian church in philadelphia for a seated show, no ac, august 2006.

it was hot, ripe, loud, and fucking surreal

one of the top 5 shows ive ever seen

I didn't notice that someone mentioned S-K...I saw them twice, and they were one of the most ferocious live bands I've ever seen. I'd even say they were more energetic than Valient Thorr, though it's a different type of energy. I'm sad that I had to miss them in Winston-Salem on that last tour; I would've really liked to see "Modern Girl" in person.

The one show I'm super-pissed about missing is when the Magnetic Fields played 69 Love Songs in its entirety over two nights at the Carrboro Artscenter.
