Before I get on the road for the week, I wanted to encourage everyone that can to attend a fund raiser at the Burlington Hooters this Thursday night. I know that some of you know Tanya, and some of you know Natalie from the Hooters 08 Calendar and Beauty and the Geek.
This is a big benefit to raise money for Tanya, a Hooters girl in Burlington that just found out she has cancer. The money goes to Tanya's doctor bills. Tanya's cancer is explained farther down. Please drive out to the Burlington Hooters to help raise money for Tanya. Thank you!
Along with a Calendar Signing, there will also be: build off for Bikes for Tykes Bake Sale Fashion Show Raffles Calendar Sales & signing (Natalie - 08 Calender Center Poster / Beauty and the Geek model) donations
Silent Auction:
Hotel Room at Country Inn Suites Dale Earnhart Jr. Hood Metal Gear Video Game Signed by Creator Richard Petty Driving Experience Gift Baskets from Local Stores and Restaurants And MUCH MUCH MORE
Tanya's Cancer: Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 4B (once a lymphoma patient has reached this stage they are often considered terminal. The cancer has spread rapidly throughout the lymphatic system, as well as a major organ)Her doctor feels it is curable by a little more than 50%, although her odds are not the best, all she can do is pray and try to stay positive.
The cancer is in her right upper chest wall, right underarm, shoulder, neck, the middle of her chest as well as it has grown into her right lung. This caused her lung to collapse twice and to be hospitalized once already. She is home resting now.
Regretfully I will be in Williamsburg VA and unable to attend. I do hope that if you are in the area, please clear your calendar and come give Tanya some love and support. 12/18/2007 9:37:25 AM |

I had to make sure this wasn't chit chat before I posted.
But in all seriousness I hope things work out, shit happens, but miracles do too, its tough to stay positive when things like this happen. Being the holiday season I can throw a few bucks this way. Address or something of the like would help, can't drive to Burlington.
No why doesn't every person who gets cancer have a fund raiser? 12/19/2007 4:07:37 AM |
