I'm looking to take a friend of mine to the NCSU vs. VT game in February. I'm wondering about the requesting tickets as a student. If you ask for a guest ticket along with your student ticket are you guaranteed to get any tickets at all? I think it'd be pretty useless to allow us to request guest tickets, then make plans and end up not getting a ticket, but I trust in the infinite stupidity of the people in charge of things. Should I just spend a bit and get some nosebleed seats for $30 offline?

Of course you aren't guaranteed tickets. It's lottery based. If you win, then you pay for the guest ticket when you claim yours.

no, they had guest tickets and were probably their with their son/daughter who is a student
