i was thirsty so i stopped by harris teeter on my way home

i saw a commercial on tv for Simply Apple... the same people that make the awesome orange juice, so i thought i'd give it a try

it looks nasty as hell in the bottle... i'm guessing because it's unfiltered?

but anyway, i digress.

this is the best apple juice i've ever had in my life.

anyone else tried it yet?

I used to get a not-from-concentrate apple juice at the fresh market

I forget the brand,

but it looks like normal apple juice

and tastes extraordinarily delicious!

expensive though, as you would expect

Naked Juice ftmfw!

There is a lot of benefit to these types of juices over regular fruit juices that you find in stores. The "white stuff" that surrounds an orange and the skin of an apple contains most of the flavonoids (antioxidants.) The same goes for skins of other fruits like grapes, pears, etc. When you squeeze the juice out you don't get the same benefits as you do by pureeing it.

Studies have shown that you get more antioxidants by peeling and eating an orange than drinking OJ even though you just peel off most of the white stuff.

Raw Fruits + Whole Grain foods...It all goes back to eating foods closest to their natural state.
