What's the best way to switch from live to frozen? How do you feed frozen?

my sister switched from live to frozen and afterward she had to wiggle the food in front of her snake to get him to eat it.

why switch?

you know your snake doesn't want to eat dead thawed crap

unless you don't care about the snake (making a belt, perhaps?)

you should use live food, what they want anyway

or is there some other issue at hand here?

^ it safer for the snake. mice can and will bite back. you can not feed him for a couple of weeks then just thaw out the mice in hot water and make sure it's good and warm all the way thru. try just putting it in front of the snake, if that doesn't work you can tease feed him. just wiggle it in front of the snake.

also what kind is it?

That's why we switched, partly anyways. We also switched because no one around here sells live mice anymore, the only store shut down. We have to wiggle it to get them to eat.

i feed my snakes live or frozen, depending on what's available...i've had rats and mice chew on the various snakes and NEVER draw blood, let alone damage a scale

that said, for everything up to a full-sized mouse or juvenile rat, throw it into warm/hot water for 45 minutes or more (you'll probably have to switch out the water halfway through)...don't put them in boiling water, as they tend to disentegrate
