Like the 100 ambulance visits.... sometimes you'd be on 95 and they'd give you 30 fucking seconds to drive all the way across the city.

Well I managed to pass some of the missions (the riot and the delivery dude) once but it didn't save and I can't get passed it again. Even when I did, I got stuck with that stupid fucking helicopter bomb dropping mission. That thing can't fly for shit.

you can have simultaneous missions, but there's always a central plot where you have to beat all the missions sequentially to progress

you can run out of side missions and not unlock more until you complete the one central to the plot

Not necessarily. Back when I played VC I would usually try to collect the 100 packages before I started on the first story mission. You can access the other places through exploits. Jumping off one of the bridges into a passing boat is probably the easiest to explain - others involve jumping on parked vans in certain locations. I don't remember the locations now.

It's been a while, but IIRC you get a save point for each property you buy. Want more save points? Earn money and buy more properties.

wtf. currently, the only mission options I have here are Kent Paul's stupid 'Death Row' mission which is fucking impossible. And other than the 'Cubans' mission which I can't even remember where it came from, I have no other choices of what to do
