This game shouldn't have even been close but in the end this loss could not only hurt Boise State but all of the WAC conference. Boise State losing to ECU is a terrible loss because now the seriousness of the conference gets called into question with once of the conferences premier schools getting knocked off by them. Schools like Boise State, Fresno State, TCU, Brigham Young, Utah, and more recently Hawaii base their success on beating teams they shouldn't and beating the crap out of teams they should. A rough loss for Boise State because, unlike when we lose to ECU and our coaching gets called into question, their whole conference gets called into question.
