i like that 2nd list muuuuch better for the simple reason that Scarface is at 16.
Scarface isn't a great movie. Tony Montana is simply one of the most recognizable, overtly shameless characters in cinematic history.
...which, i guess actually says quite a bit.
**disclaimer** I like Scarface...just sayin'.
^^and I just saw thegoodlife's post..I kinda agree.

I'm not sure how this happened, I just never got around to it. Kind of how i haven't seen LOTR3 or Braveheart. 12/25/2007 12:22:37 AM |

Goodfellas is on A&E currently.
This is my first time watching it; however I'll have to rewatch it sometime soon without the commercial breaks and with all the cursing I'm almost certain I'm missing. 12/25/2007 1:06:06 AM |

I don't know if I would consider Pulp Fiction a true crime "drama." It's a decent drama, but it seems to be more remembered for its comedy than it's crime drama aspets. 12/25/2007 1:39:44 AM |

there are some good movies on these lists. i also think that scarface is a touch overrated. maybe that's because i hadn't seen it a couple years ago and had been hearing the hype for so long, but i was not blown away.
i'd have to say my top five are: 1.the usual suspects (#1 easily) 2.the boondock saints 3.pulp fiction 4.heat 5.lock, stock and two smoking barrels 2/11/2008 8:47:40 AM |
