Bought it new since June. Always kept away from the sun after use. Will include all the included accessories and box. Asking for $300. 12/27/2007 10:16:07 PM |

So you purchased it in June? Have the receipt? How much do they cost new? (now)12/28/2007 8:36:06 AM |

Also want to add that it's V1.8—POP2 with Euro Mode. The latest version that's out. I believe the current value new is $400 from the manufacturer's site. Also, I looked at my recipt and it was purchased in May 15th, 2007, not in June. Sorry.

zxappeal,
I wouldn't trade my V1 for an STi....here is one of the latest reviews.
"From a radar detection performance standpoint it appears the BEL STi is at least on par with the RX65 and V1 across all radar bands (X, K, and Ka) from ahead and almost equal to the Valentine 1 from the rear (even though the Valentine has an additional dedicated rear-facing antenna).
From a laser detection standpoint it appears to exceed the performance of the RX65 Pro with frontal laser. The V1 is still, by far, the class leader and the Escort 8500 X50 appears to still retain an edge."

v1's hold their value better than any other piece of electronics on the planet in my opinion 12/28/2007 1:02:13 PM |

haven't priced used V1s lately, but $300 sounds like a good price.
dan, when i bought my V1, i planned on buying something else...i thought for sure that something would've eclipsed V1 by now (even with all of their updates). i wanted the best detector at any price...i eventually settled on V1 (although, to be fair, the tests of the STi Driver were just coming out, and the Passport 9500 wasn't yet released). I'd still put the V1 against either of them, though. 12/28/2007 6:54:51 PM |
