I'll start with Patrick Roy's 151 playoff wins.

Martin Brodeur is second with 94...he'd have to win the Stanley Cup three more times to even get close.

martina navratilova's 9 wimbledon single's titles (along with reaching the wimbledon finals 9 straight years with six straight championships). she has many other records as well. she has the most singles and doubles tournament titles (167 and 177 respectively). she's a damn beast and was well through careers of multiple generations of tennis players.

you do realize that federer has won 5 wimbledons in a row right? and that he will more than likely get the next 3 if he doesn't get injured.

that's potentially >>>6 wimbledon titles in a row, with the likelihood of him being in the finals of his next 5 or 6 wimbledons and that would be a grand total of 13 wimbledon finals easily. EASILY

all im saying is that martina's records at wimbledon aren't "UNBREAKABLE" dude.

most minutes played by a freshman in the ACC tourny

Justin Gainey didnt come out the the game for the entire tourny and they played 4 games (i think we were an 8 seed that year).......did we go in over time with Duke that year in the tourny cuz that would have gotten more minutes?

but that record wont get broken although there is a better chance now since better teams can play 4 games now

I don't think that really falls into the same category as the rest since its impossible to be beaten due to the field restrictions.

He had 511 wins. No one will ever beat that.

Others:
Nolan Ryan's 7 no hitters.
The Yankees 125-50 record (including playoffs) in 1998
Mickey Mantle's 18 World Series home runs

^^Because it would be like saying the highest dunk in the NBA has been 10ft.

No matter how good of an athlete the person is, the record will only not be broken because of an outside limitation.

Neither of those strike me as something I consider unbreakable.

Sure, they are great stats, would be hard to break, but I wouldn't consider it out of the norm if they were broken.

he played in 12 world series, no one will ever do that again

That's a terrible analogy because every dunk is 10 feet.

What you are saying is that if an NBA team won all 82 games it shouldn't count because that's the highest maximum amount.

Or if a batter got a hit on every single at bat in a season.

Or if a QB had a season with a perfect QB rating.

No its not.

The record dunk in an NBA game is 10ft, however, it has been tied by almost every player.
Will it ever be beaten? Nope, not unless they change the regulation height of the goals.

Every football field is the same lenght as well.

No team has ever won all 82, and never will so thats not even an issue.

Number of at bats vary throughout the season for every batter, so thats not really limited to a specific #.

Nobody has ever had, or will have a perfect QB rating, so thats not debatable either.

And nobody has ever had a kick return as long as Cromartie, so I don't see where your issue is.

But it can only be tied and therefore never beaten since the field length doesn't allow.

Of course it is an "unbeatable record" Not arguing that, but its not an unbeatable record in the in the same way as say

7 no hitters
or
511 wins as a pitcher

Most unbeatable records that we are talking about can possibly be bested.
The kick return can't because there is no room to improve it.

DOes that make more sense as to what I mean?

Oh I read it, and I am not arguing that its breakable.

I just dont think it falls into the same category as all the other ones we are talking about.

And if I recall correctly, his foot wasn't less than an inch from the back of the endzone, so its possible that it could be broken.

So it is beatable if you really wanna be a chode about this.

Since I do want to be a chode about it, then all these records are technically beatable.

Obviously, they all have the potential to be beaten, thats what makes them more unique than the kick off return you are claiming is in the same category as these.
