Requirements: 25+ mpg highway good motor and trans decent body under $2200
I've been looking at '96 and older maxima's, especially 93-94 age Mostly interested in sedans, but also interested in Honda Hatches.
Any links or points in directions appreciated, and I have already hit up craigslist. 1/4/2008 8:08:41 PM |

Still have it. But it is quickly loosing functionality for traveling, with two seats and 0 storage space. Still have the Maxima (for now), with 1 seat, and 0 storage space.
Want a quazi beater, that I can use for trips, hold groceries and luggage, and get good gas mileage.
I really want a good drive train, and ok to good body. 1/4/2008 8:27:22 PM |

I will not get a saturn. Too many problems with oil leaks, and plastic bodies suck. 1/4/2008 9:57:36 PM |

'87-'89 Accord LXi hatch. Not too easy to find, but if you can find one that still has some life in it, there you go.1/5/2008 3:30:13 AM |

my roommate has a 96 Civic CX hatch. that's like the base model hatch for that year, but he gets 40mpg 1/5/2008 9:19:06 AM |

the CX is the lightest civic model.
you cant go wrong with the hatch. or even a 2 or 4 door.
you can haul more stuff in a hatch, but you will find a 2/4 door for a better price, and you'll find it quicker 1/5/2008 10:08:12 AM |
