I used to hike there fairly often. I tried to go there about 2 weeks ago, and there were numerous No Parking signs up, and everything was blocked off. Is that a seasonal thing? What the damn?

That's exactly it. Fucking sucks. I suppose I'll have to walk 3 miles to get to my 4 mile path. Awesome.

^Ebinezer Church is off Glenwood. I'm not sure how to get to where I need to go from the main Glenwood entrance...much less how far these parking areas are from where I hike. I'll have to DL a map or something.

yes, i have a car, Josh.

what i've been saying is that where I used to park (about 500 yards from my hike path), is now marked for No Parking. I have to find a new place to park. Though, I'm pretty sure there's nowhere to park within 2-3 miles of where I hike.

^exactly

i like hiking NOT with 452 other people at once.

it's part of the lure. the peace.

oh lord.

i don't know why i bother. but i will

i have no general problem with people.

but hiking is a greater activity to me than simply breaking a sweat, burning a few calories. i enjoy being able to be more or less alone in a natural environment. it's good for my mind, etc.

do you need any more insight?

they've also done this at the reedy creek entrance, since they're building a bunch of houses out that way. now there's hardly anywhere to park, and i LOVE that entrance
