i used to play cards with a guy who had a total fear of odd numbers...

so if i wanted to raise him huge, id bet an odd number at him, like $27

if he wanted to call, he'd have to raise to make it an even number

then i'd pop it up for his stack.

My husband teases me all the time about how I insist that the alarm, the tv volume, etc. all have to be set to even numbers. I even eat my candies and stuff in pairs. If there is an odd one, I give it to someone else or throw it away.
