Honestly, I'm shocked at how good of a job Herb is doing out there. I thought it would take him a long time to get that going in the right direction. I mean they had literally ZERO talent on that team last year. It was ugly to watch every game. It goes to show you that one great recruiting class can really turn around a program in basketball.

I'm still not convinced he will ever win anything of consequence there, but for now they really don't care. They really might contend to be the 3rd or 4th best team in that conference this year... and the Pac-10, for my $$$, is the best hoops conference in the country this year.

V i have $$$ on the games, but i'd rather watch UConn then Jags-Steelers... I mean I'm not going to watch two teams I have no care for over the NFL playoffs, but State or UConn definitely

Only 4 coaches (smith, gut, gary, and K(x7)) won an ACC championship over Herb's tenure.

UNC and Duke are not in the Pac 10. Regardless of what you think, the NCSU basketball coach is going to have to win 40% of the Duke-UNC games, and no, the games when Brian Morrison played for UNC aren't the measuring stick. 2002-2003 ACC tournament Championship against Duke (up 15 w/ 11 minutes to play)

Is Sidney, I don't know, but I know Sendek is not. Sendek never recruited the most "cerebral" basketball players, and I'll wait to rate Lowe's recruits when he can get his own guys in his own system. I know I'll take 5 jj Hickson's every day, and that's on effort and smarts alone.

Arizona has always beat up on Arizona State sort of like UNC against NC State. Herb will do out there what he did here. He will gett hammered by his rival and make the NCAA tournament, but never make it to that next level like Duke has done under Coach K.

The Pac 10 is not the ACC.

I-10 is not I-40 (Tobacco Road). And I'm well aware that I-40 runs right into Phoenix.
