i dunno man, its just a feeling i got.

Clemens was remarkeably calm on the phone for someone who either A) ratted his ass out or B) lied about him to the feds

I can't imagine having a conversation like that with my friend or anyone really. Either the thing is fake as hell or they both suck at conversation--lets put it that way.

it didn't sound fake, but it did a great deal to prove that Clemens is lying. the only reason McNamee would offer to go to jail is if he was going to refuse testimony and be held in contempt.

Yeah I don't get what was fake. Clemens was calm because he knew it was being taped, McNamee wasn't calm because he didn't know it was being taped. If Clemen's was out of control he would have just come off sounding like a lunatic and then the tape would have been even more worthless then it pretty much is. To me it sounded very munipulated on Clemen's part, he was trying to get certain things out of McNamee without saying certain statements himself. It was all very vague, but certainly not fake. I don't think two men who are sueing each other are going to stage fake phone calls.

so is mcnamee lying. i mean for clemens to deny it with all that proof means he's either INSANE or he truely believes he's not guilty. but for MLB to cosign the list they had to have been thinking about legal ramifications. no way they'd put him on the list.

Hey I agree with you 100 %. I think 75 to 95 percent of players are or did juice it up. Baseball is kinda screwed up, but is still the best game in the world in my opinion.

its certainly a nice game to go to on a lazy evening in the summertime to drink a couple cold ones, eat some dogs, etc

i prefer basketball and football but its all good

another interesting note, take it for what its worth, but i was listening to the packman show the other day, and he was talking about jose canseco, when he was in his studio before he even released the first book when everybody thought he was just trying to make money...apparently canseco told him that out of ALL the players in the rangers clubhouse when he was there, pretty much every one of them juiced in one way or another EXCEPT nolan ryan

Saying that McNamee is a shady character is an understatement.

But at this point, it doesn't matter who is telling the truth and who isn't. Clemens is forever linked to steriods, there will always be skeptics either way. If McNamee is lieing he's already been right about a lot of other people.

I give this whole thing a big "I don't give a shit."

We are in the middle of what could potentially be some of the best rounds of playoff football in a long time, and this steriod shit needs to get the fuck out of here so I can enjoy that.
