One of our employees accidentally removed the wrong profile from the exchange server and now a person is without the email they had in their inbox. I was able to recreate their profile and recover some of the .pst files from the actual computer and load about 1/2 of their stuff back into their mailbox. The problem is, the subfolders that were in the inbox were not part of the main .pst file.

Is there a way we can go into the server and recover all of the .pst files for a user who's profile has been deleted? We are trying to avoid going to our backup because it will cost an arm and a leg.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it not feasible to recover them using some sort of undelete utility? Assuming the data hasn't been written over I don't see why it wouldn't work

the box isn't deleted if it's been less than 30 days (default) it's just been disconnected. the admin can get it back with private profile something or other.

..ok rather than me typing it out, here's a picture tutorial
