Anyone ever sold theirs? Curious what the typical terms and arrangements are. Browsing through it seems like mostly dealers who are obviously in a different situation.

Trying to sell my 04 CBR. Seems to be common to put some amount down through paypal and the remainder due at pickup. I guess it just seems odd to me, if you have their info from ebay why wouldnt someone just call the seller, go check it out, and then buy it or not? Why even bid?

Im used to cash sales, most other methods can be frauded in some way or another.

A lot of people use eBay as a marketing tool in the way that you mentioned. That's why you see so many sellers with a disclaimer saying "Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time and sell the vehicle outside of eBay" or something similar.
