i was having 1 minute bouts with vader until i ran smack into the wall of pwn that is the apprentice

i screamed MOTHERFUCKER IM SUPPOSED TO BE THE MASTER HERE after about the 10th time in a row i lost to him

all told, i spent 16 minutes fighting him until i beat him

by comparison the final boss that can manifest a metric assload of weapons took a bit over 5

plus side of all that is: apprentice = unlocked

easiest way to win against cpu with vader...

step 1: back up against an open pit
step 2: let the enemy come to you while blocking
step 3: don't let them knock you in (block)
step 4: grab that mother fucker
step 5: pick him up over you head and throw him behind you in the pit like you did the emperor in return of the jedi
step 6: victory!

Apparantly, it's been confirmed that both Yoda and Vader are actually the discs for both the 360 and the PS3 version and if they are ever released as "downloadable content", it won't actually be downloadable, so much as unlockable.

The upside is it looks like theres a way to get Vader for free on modded 360s at least.

apprentice vs. vader (with me as apprentice) - 2 rounds completed in a total of 54 seconds

fucking raphael gave me the most trouble as the apprentice, took 7 minutes on him since he either sidesteps my vertical attacks or leans back and stabs me under my horizontal attacks

the old quest mode was much better than story mode

So I have been screwing around in the character creator making characters from the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin.

Ned Stark = Siegfried
Arya Stark (7 years in the future) = Amy
Prince Oberyn (Red Viper of Dorne) = Hilda
Khal Drogo = Yun-seong
Ser Barristan Selmy = Kilik
Ser Gregor Clegane = Nighmare
King Robert = Rock
Ser Loras = Raphael
Strong Belwas = Yun-seong
Ser Jaime Lannister = Mitsurugi (with the western looking 2 handed sword)
Brienne of Tarth = Sophitia

The main gripe I have with it though is that it's so much easier to make a female character.

Female characters look fine using either male or female animations, but the male characters look ridiculous with female animations. For this reason, you can't make a guy with a sword and sheild!

I wish they had a few more western and male animations. sword/shield, spear/sheild and halberd/poleaxe would be great.

That doesn't seem like the Rock we see on the screen. Add about 6 inches and 80 pounds and you would be getting closer.

Astaroth is insanely good/cheap against the CPU.

Push as soon as the match starts.

Then, when your opponent hits the ground, push and hold, then .

Repeat until the opponent is dead.

I got 500,000+ in just over 4 minutes in arcade mode with Astaroth.
