I am leaning toward buying a 40 gig PS3 tommorrow is there any advantages to the 80 gig other than backwards compatibility

Can I use the card reader for anything other than looking at pics from my camera

basically whats everyone's opinion on the two

you also lose 2 USB ports on the 40 gig...which might not seem like a big deal, but if you're planning on playing Rock Band with more than two people (or just don't want to be switching crap out all the time), you'll have to get a USB hub.

i have a 60 gig and have my controller charge cable plugged in, my drum kit plugged in, my GHIII dongle plugged in, and the mic plugged in. if I want to play the RB guitar, I just plug it's dongle into a 3 ft usb extender I have that my controller charge cord is in
