With the Colts and Cowboys both losing today, your Super Bowl Victory is now a certainty.

The playoffs just got alot more ho-hum (for me at least).

I really wanted a remeatch of the #1 and #2's from earlier this year.

FUCK.

New England.....Super Bowl Champs.....and the rest of the playoffs are blowouts.

Mark my word.

philip v. favre

yes. They will win against the Giants....In the snow....

The Chargers will get murdered.

and the Pats will steamroll the Packers.

As a Pats fan this comforts me, but it's still gonna be lamer than if Indy or Dallas were still in it...

...though it's primed for a big upset now...could be...

yeah....it's a playoff system, so anything is fair and the winners are well deserved.

But damn, between Manning, Wayne, Harrision?, Addai, Romo, T.O., Barber, et all.....

there are now quite a few big names missing for the NFL playoffs

With that said....the reall bummer is going to be when Philip and L.T are both playing at 60% in Foxboro next week.

FUCK.

You could probably take the best players from the other 3 teams left and still lose to the Pats.

QB-Favre
RB-Grant/LT/Jacobs
WR-Jennings/Chambers/Driver/Burress
TE-Gates

That offense probably couldn't even keep up with this year's Pats.

who cares that they are missing, they couldn't get it done. They get the bye and the home field advantage but still got taken. Tough shit, they don't deserve it.

i agree, but don't forget gates. it's just not the same team with them not operating at full capacity. although rivers hasn't been completely healthy for weeks now.

i think its a really good matchup and its much preferred than if indy and dallas went through

why? cause they both already had their chance with full strength (aside from harrison who's still not 100%)
this gives us a chance to see other teams give is a lash

^^ its a bandwagon team... like the red sox, cowboys, bulls... people like these teams for no fucking reason

you should like the home team of where you are from... i can't tell you how many of my friends are like...
NBA: "I'm a big Bulls fan"
NHL: "I've always liked the Devils"
MLB: "Red Sox baby, break the curse"
NFL: "New Orleans Saints, geaux Saints"

its always shit like that... being from Detroit I'm Detroit everything... even the sorry ass Lions

Well the Chargers are on a winning streak as well. They seem to have improved since the beginning of the season (see this win tonight vs. their first win against the colts - total luck).

While New England beat the crap out of the Chargers early in the season, I think they've been showing weakness in that last few months (4 wins by <4 pts since Nov). You can call it clutch, you can call it destiny - but the Pats are becoming more and more vulnerable as the season goes on.

Having said that - we'll never know until the game is actually played but it seems like everyone is catching up to the Pats. As long as one of the remaining teams brings their "A" game, they'll have a chance.

That's certainly part of it. He was the qb right when I was starting to get into football.

The only thing about that is what about us that have lived in NC all of our lives? We don't have MLB and I have been STL fan since I was like 5 years old. Also we didn't get the Panthers/Hurricanes/Bobcats until later in most of our lifetimes as well so they don't have strong fanbases yet.

it's ok to like teams from other cities if your area doesn't have a franchise. it's not ok to be a fucking frontrunner

I don't see why people care who other people root for...its a lot more fun to root for a team that wins most of the time than one that sucks or is consistently mediocre
