i just like my sambas' because they have lasted me forever (a few years with minor wear) considering i play soccer and frisbee in them or at least practice in them.

Try a shoe with leather (like Docker's shoes or something by Skecher's, whatever fits best on your foot). Something a little more grown up looking. Just go to the store and look, TWW will only heckle you.
