"No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?"--Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn), Breakfast at Tiffany's

yea this is way too hard heh.

Music: i think I have to go with this Beloved quote as being way up there at least:
"If we live in hearts we leave behind, Then we will never die" Just because of the band and how it was kind of their slogan for their farewell show and just the quote in general.

Book:as far as book quotes, Tolkien has tons of good ones. but ive always liked:

“There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. You certainly usually find something, if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after.”

Some of you guys have some shitty favorites.

Off the top of my head, here are some good ones that might be close to a favorite:

Movie:

"Ray, when someone askes you if you're a god, you say YES!"
-Winston, Ghostbusters

TV Show:

"I know who you are. I can see you. You're swearing now that some day you will destroy me, but remember: far better women than you have sworn to do the same. Go look for them now."
-Atia, "Rome"

Book:

"Fish, I love you and respect you very much. But I will kill you dead before this day ends"

-Santiago, "Old Man and the Sea"

Thrice song "Of Dust and Nations":

"Saturn will not sleep, until the sand has made us clean
still we stack our stones and bury what we can
but it all will be undone, and nothing built under the sun
will ever stand before the endless march of sand"

Quote :
"There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle.
"That's some catch, that Catch-22," [Yossarian] observed.
"It's the best there is," Doc Daneeka agreed."

Book:
"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours."

Song:

And I'm not stopping, I'm not stopping now"
