^^^pretty sure the first post was correct, that it's just that Star Wars parody and a couple of extras

and no, no one should buy this

Quote :
"Fox Television will release a special DVD of "Blue Harvest" on January 15, 2008 in both regular and special editions. Extras will include about four minutes of exclusive DVD material, an uncensored audio track, animatics and commentary by the Family Guy staff, interviews with Seth MacFarlane and George Lucas, a sneak preview to "Something, Something, Something Dark Side" and a table read of it. In addition, the special edition release will come exclusively with collectable packaging, 3-D fight scenes and glasses, a themed T-shirt, trading cards, and brochure which will contain a letter from the shows creator Seth McFarlane, script excerpts, pictures and so on."

I'm totally buying this for the UNCENSORED audio track.

Any DVD that features something uncensored, unedited or unrated is an automatic buy.

I love it when they release UNRATED editions of PG-13 movies

They just skip R altogether

that's pretty much only true if the content was good to begin with

this episode was "meh" at best

It just gets people to buy it thinking that "unrated" means that it couldn't have been shown in theaters.

When actually they call it "unrated" because new material has been added that has not been rated by the MPAA. A lot of the time, especially with movies that were rated R to begin with, the content could have made it under the standards anyway.

[Edited on January 15, 2008 at 5:44 PM. Reason : Pretty much every directors cut could be considered unrated, even if it was just edited for time]
