"Cannot open X display" probably means your DISPLAY isn't set or X isn't tunneling .. did you tell PuTTY to tunnel X? It should be localhost:0 I believe. 1/17/2008 12:35:41 PM |

localhost:0 should do it
and make sure your x server is set to accept connections from localhost 1/17/2008 12:38:30 PM |

echo $DISPLAY
I believe it should be localhost:10.0*
*the results of echo $DISPLAY from your PuTTY session, that is, and not the display you configure in PuTTY

do you have some basic code you need to run, I am actually logged into work now trying to fix some defects and I could run it... of course your data will have to be in the code you send me via the cards statement 3/25/2008 5:13:38 PM |
