I have mixed feelings for this movie.
I am looking forward to it, mainly for the cast. But when studios drop movies like this almost out of thin air it's usually a bad sign.... but then again, Happy Madison did the same with Grandma's Boy, and that is the best movie they ever put out.

Can't wait to find out.

I actually prefer movies w/low hype/fanfare than ones that are talked about months in advance

I always seem to enjoy the less-hyped movie more - when Spiderman released in '02, I think I enjoyed every other movie that was out around that same time

yeah i died the first time i saw the extended shark thing. i really hope the movie delivers and doesnt just have a couple funny parts. like jonah hill scene saying 'yeah im wearing a thong' - laughed at that one too.

The shark thing actually reminded me of Bill Engvall's brief "dorkfish" joke in one of his shows... that said, it was funny the first couple of times I saw the commercial. After that, not so much.

Well, I was right to have mixed feelings.

As much as I liked the previews...and as much as I was hoping to like this movie.

IT SUCKED. A LOT. You can tell because I used CAPS.
If you are asking yourself "$1.50?" Keep in mind, I got to watch it for free, and I don't really think it was worth my time.

Basically no one in this movie was funny. Did I laugh, sure... maybe about 7 times. But that's less than once every ten minutes. You decide.

Anyone else catch this movie yet?

I just got back from seeing this and I have to agree that it pretty much sucked balls. There were parts that were funny but they were few and far between. I'm really pissed that I missed the hot chick's tits. I'm not 100% sure they were shown but dammit it looked like they might have been.

The part with the shark with the teeth is still really really funny though.

Man, did it suck! I was one of the ones who laughed my ass off about that Shark. This is possibly the worst direction I have EVER seen in a movie. After seeing Hot Rod and Fast Food Nation in the past six months, I didn't expect it to raise the bar of shitdom, but it did. Should have seen it coming, given the lack of advertising and buzz. I also found it completely fucking crazy they were going to DRIVE from CALIFORNIA to ECUADOR in an RV but couldn't scrap up a grand between the 5-6 of them. Who the FUCK drives to Ecuador?! And, somehow, they came upon lions and gazelles along the way.
