capital one sucks balls, but they did give me convenience checks with a 3.9% fixed rate which i made good use of

The card was originally through Providian which was acquired by WaMu. As soon as the merger was over they slashed the limit by more than half from $3500 to $1516 (the then current balance), then sent me a bill with over the limit fees because when the cycle ended the finance charges put the bill over the new limit they had just put on the card with no notice. Then the rate doubled after that.

I got the fees taken off but they would not put the rate back or the credit line. Needless to say that one is chopped up and will never be used again.

lol funny, my providian/wamu is still at 3500 but my paypal visa (don't ask) got randomly cut from 2100 to 300. Fuck GEMonies
