state champs and results about half way down the page, played in wrightsville beach/ogden park

tourneys held throughout the year for $$$$


you'll like this, unc sent their campus championship team to a wrightsville beach tourney a few years ago. they were named the "vanilla wafers", no joke. well, they wanted to be matched up against the best nc "open" team, which was us, blincos. we have a lot of nc state dudes. we got to the tourney, setup our nc state tailgatin tent put out our state chairs, watched them laugh and listened to them talk junk about the "old" nc state guys. well, it got ugly and by the time it was 56-0, the 2 minute slaughter rule was called. they kept talkin junk. well, unfortunately for them, the seeding is determined by point differential and yep, we were the #1 seed and they were the #16 seed. so, after another 55-0 slaughter, they left the field and said they would never play in our tournaments again.... we drank our beer and chuckled.

It's crazy sometimes, true.. but always fun. Sometimes we'll have like 7 people show up, so then we try to get more people... and 26 guys show up. Feast or famine.

I'd like to check you guys out one time for a game.
