If anyone has an extra one laying around, I'll buy it from you. The label says 65W wide range input. 18.5V output. 1/21/2008 12:03:54 PM |

NC State Surplus. Friday at 8am. Go through the tunnel at the west end of Sullivan/Ligon Street, it's the big warehouse on the left. Look for the long line of losers.
Get there early, there's an old man that hordes laptop power supplies like a squirrel so he can resell them on ebay. 1/21/2008 1:15:01 PM |

it might help to give the model number of the laptop. My mom and I both have hp laptops but different models and her power adapter doesn't work on mine. 1/21/2008 3:01:15 PM |

If the surplus store doesn't work out, you can buy a Targus Universal Power supply from the Computer Geeks storefront on amazon for $25 plus shipping (see link: http://www.amazon.com/Targus-APA10US-Mobile-Universal-Adapter/dp/B0001JXAAC?tag=dogpile-20). You'll have to check to see if one of the included tips fits your laptop (check http://www.targus.com). I use to have one of these and they work great....you can use it to power your laptop at home, in the car (with the included cigarette lighter adapter) or on a plane (if the plane has power ports). It is the same thing as an iGo power adapter but less expensive. You can also get an adapter that allows you to charge your cell phone/PDA (with the proper tip). 1/21/2008 3:54:16 PM |
