Thoughts? There are definitely some good bands this year, but still seems a little weak compared to last year's festival. Although Spiritualized is tempting, I probably won't be attending this year.

That lineup is electronic supersonic, but why is My Morning Jacket on major billing? They have been quite for the last 2 years.

a lot of the bands playing are just boring. no offense. they might be good but they will be boring live.

on another note, i jumped off the annuals bandwagon along time ago after i saw them live for the 2nd time blah blah blah....that was my impression of them.

but i mean, if someone handed free tickets and airfare, then ok FINE i guess i'd go

the fact that you have to buy another ticket to camp is a turnoff

Spiritualized are underwhelming live, even in a small club. I imagine they'd be crap outdoors.

my criteria for paying this much is that i add up the total price, then divide it by the bands i would want to see and if its around $15/band (which is what i pay at the cradle anyway) it is worth it to me

so far this is definitely a good deal for me

yea but cat's cradle is a small venue and these bands will be playing in a giant field? i just don't think the show would be worth it for some of the bands. it will probably be an ultra bore and ultra bad. chromeo will probably be good. animal collective. but then we need a little daft punk or flaming lips. need some theatrics.
