Pretty much a must win if we hope to salvage the season. We cannot afford another loss to a team that will finish with a below 500 record.

GT will run and we have got to get back on defense better than we did against UNC, Clemson, MSU. I was impressed with GT's shooting against UNC. I think this will be a close game. State will need to control the tempo and pound it inside with Hickson.

Our 2 'point guards' are averaging a combined total per game:

I think that there is a chance we win, but I am a little wary of hoping since that usually results in my hopes being dashed against the floor of the RBC center only later to be mopped up by the towel boy and thrown in the garbage.

Neither one of them can shoot at all....or at least Javi can't. Marques never looks to shoot. I feel a whole lot better when Johnson is out there still. Javi did a little better but I am afraid he still doesn't have what it takes.

What? There were 4 posts before this one that predicted a win. I don't see people on here being all excited that we're back, boasting, etc. From what I can tell everyone is just hoping that we play better and maybe win this game.

Javi can shoot way better than Marques. you never see him shoot for a reason / he has no confidence in that ugly shit.

not saying javi is much better but you guys have to remember whats being asked of him. he isnt supposed to be a shooter. he is supposed to the game manager and getting / making sure everyone is in their correct spot on the floor. he is trying to run a pro style offense with very little experience on this level of play.

a lot of times if they have problems with the system, the problem games don't count against anyone. just make sure you email them when you notice a problem

I like the JJ's better chant. We need one for Causey. I remember when those guys started the "Marshall sucks" chant during the BC game a couple of years ago. They were on him the entire game. At a timeout he couldn't take it anymore and yelled something to the guys that had started it and they all just laughed. That same game also was witness to the infamous "Dudley's ugly" chant.

fells is streaky as hell. some games he plays lights out (seems like we normally win those), other games he can't score at all or is under 5 pts. it'd be interesting to look at his scoring and our W-L record this year...
