anyone know how to do numbers 3 and 4?

u and v are displacement fields in terms of the coordinates x and y. find delta F for the following functions:

F= u(vx^2 + xy) ^0.5
etc.

i dont know what a displacement field is.


#4) is problem 5.4 in the book.
