when a thread that has an otherwise serious conversation gets sidetracked by people calling each other pussies and other crap like that - i go ahead and delete the posts so it doesn't continue any further - most of the time the discussion goes back to what it was intended to be

you do not delete non-NSFW content from a thread

you try to steer the content the best you can and (although I know your power hungry douche self loves to hear this) you suspend for a finite amount of time if necessary

take a clue from Duke and try not to act like a complete child

the only content changed was bickering between a few users that had no place - there was no content regarding the topic that was removed - there was no steering of the conversation

im gonna go with omar is (with the exception of the bigman selective enforcement suspension) one of the more fair mods on here

when i did the lounge, i deleted all sorts of posts. because the lounge isnt chit chat. i tired my best to let the silly stuff stay to a degree, but when you let it go just a little too far, the thread runs away. so i basically took out any dupe threads, dupe posts, namecalling, racism, meme shit, anything that could really get it off track. i usually let the small silly one liners slide, unless the thread filled up with them

i do, however, agree with the joe### thing. for a guy who pours his life and soul out onto tww in "self-admitted" blogs, he sure does jump up fast with that "serious business" shit. seems like they all do.
