and get a 6 pack or two of this.
mmmmmmmmmmm...
It's like $9 a six pack, but it's got twice the alcohol of other beers, so it's not a bad deal. 2/2/2008 12:37:04 AM |

Pretty sure I tried this at the Durham beer festival. I pretty much only drink stouts and porters, so really any type of that is ok. I've really started liking mocha and chocolate stouts. Tasty. 2/2/2008 12:54:40 AM |

there is nothing worng with yuengling. infact its the oldest brewery in the us plus both of my parents are from pa. and i think it tastes damn good. on a related note anheuser(sp?) busch fucked the taste of rolling rock all up. it does not taste the same.

yuengling's take on beer is that schwag beer can have taste
and, being one of the only cheap schwag beers available that actually has a taste
I respect it, and will drink it on occasion
(shin-goo) named after the xingu river, the source of water for this tasty brew
I've been drinking xingus since back in the day when all I drank was sheaf stout

OMFG you have never had a chocolate beer in your life have you?
Just cause its brewed with some cocoa beans doesn't mean its friggin chocolate milk you retard.
Seriously people don't judge anything by its name its not a friggin zima.2/6/2008 9:45:10 AM |
Snewf All American 63361 Posts user info edit post |
most of the time chocolate stout doesn't mean there is chocolate in it
I think the Rogue beer is an exception
mostly "chocolate" in this sense is simply a particular toasted barley 2/6/2008 9:47:07 AM |

B/c if so I'm driving straight over to the brewery after work to pick some up straight from the source.

kind of, but more roasty and flavorful without that thick milk chocolate
and then there's the alcohol
the chocolate is from "six varieties of black, chocolate, and roasted malts"

its not like chocolate milk, or sweet at all
most chocolate beers dont even have chocolate in them. They get it from roasting barley, which produces similar flavors to roasted cocoa beans
I mean, if you dont like it, you dont like it. Fine. Just quit making shit up to try to make yourself feel like less of a pussy
