you put the correct amount of crap in the syringe, then you have to use a kinda large needle -- then you have to go straight in there kinda deep (deep as far as your mouth goes), and then slowly release the medicine over about 30-45 seconds
omfg dude

i used to be scared as fuck of shots and getting blood taken, and ivs. all that shit. it just barely pinches. although this dental nerve block thing hurts like hell (until the nerve gets taken out) 2/3/2008 2:32:56 AM |

most people will never even have to experience this type of injection, even from a real doctor. you have to have a toothache, and have limited choices as to how to treat the pain.
i'll tell you, though, shooting cocaine or whatever into ther nerve sack really does work better than morphine!!1
the sad part is gonna be getting the root canal and having to use motrin afterwards 2/3/2008 2:44:57 AM |

If they have that swab there then that means they put novicane on there and it does not hurt that bad after that (I had this done 5-6 times last December for fillings). 2/3/2008 11:15:02 AM |

i wasnt under the impression that dentists used nerve blocks, since they actually have the tools to fix it. i thought it was an old ER trick to stop pain

oh i'll be better as soon as they get the nerves out of there. i can deal with swelling pain, but not actual pain in a nerve.
it was kinda a joke about my vicodin.. allergy
