i was DDing some friends to the bars

after dropping them off, i turn around in this side street, then turn left onto a main road. I never saw any "no left turn" signs, but then again i wasn't looking for one. So as soon as I pulled out and went through an intersection, a cop turned his lights on. I had no idea what I could possibly have been being pulled for at the moment.

and apparently he smelled alcohol from my friends that had gotten out so he made me follow this pen with my eyes, which i 'aced' of course.

2 speeding tickets (1 in 2003, the other in 2005) both were taken care of by lawyers, except i had to go to a 4-hour defensive driving course for the 2nd one

i think they are both expunged from my record though

I had plenty of things dropped/reduced in VA just by showing up for court. But they were all in Lexington and the judge just didn't care by the time my number was called. YMMV.

do cops like memorize the "no left" or "no right" signs at every fucking intersection in town. unless they are on the same road i do not see how the cop on the perpindular road could know of the sign

Well of course they were. It's Charlottesville.

I used to work in a bar in Lexington. Bars closed at 2. I threw everyone out, cleaned the place, counted & reconciled the cash register, and made the shopping list for the next day. Usually done around 3 - 3:30. EVERY night, a town cop followed me to the town limits, waiting for me to screw up. The point is, these people have nothing else to do and they hate anyone near college age.
