anybody have experience with Mr. House

its a linux home automation application... I'm gonna let me roommate crack on it a bit using Freevo on top of it - he wants to preset some lighting for movie watching now that we've got a huge projection screen

X10 is using the same technology they were using 10 years ago - absolutely no innovation - there are a number of companies that make products that are X10 compatible that are much better

I use a bunch of X10 modules, and used the activehome SDK from x10.com to write my own software I called HomeNET.

Its all web based, so any PC in the house can get to it, and X10 controls is just one of the modules I put in it.
