So I'm riding my motorcycle the other night and as I come off the gas to park, my bike dies. Pop the fuse box, see the ignition fuse blew, swapped it and went on my way. The next day I blew it 7 times, leaving me stranded. Any idea what the problem is or how to go about diagnosing it?

a SHORT does not necc. mean a disconnected wire. look at wires that touch hot engine parts or come close to moving parts. get the wiring diagram and follow the wires on the circuit connected to that fuse. this is basic shit. 2/10/2008 11:42:21 PM |

probably heat or friction has worn away at some wire or wiring harness, causing uninsulated wire to ground out and blow the fuse. 2/11/2008 2:11:57 AM |
