from their DJ
Quote :
"The Longbranch / The Ice Room is in dire straits. Recently, business has been picking up...but a couple months ago business wasn't doing as well. During the dead months the Longbranch / Ice Room fell behind on rent, but it has been catching back up now that business is improving. The owners of the property said we must come up with $80k by Friday or it will be shut down for good. There is a loan in process, but it might not go through before Friday. "

they are saying anyone who donates money gets lifetime VIP membership and free to EVERY thing they offer. but I think you have to donate a substantial amount.

i like the LB, but i hardly go, o well.

I don't really like the place. I've been a few times but I won't miss it if it closes. I'm a tavern/bar person myself. I'd like to see more proof than some random DJ however that it is closing. A quick google shows nothing.

I thought that this was about the Longbranch being too close and was about to break out grammar ninja skills.

Fuck.

yup, like i said previously:

Quote :
"i assure you it's nowhere near going out of business."

straight from the article:

Quote :
"The Longbranch Saloon on Creekside Drive and Yancy's restaurant on Fayetteville Street plan to remain open after the filings. "

Quote :
"However, the owners of both spots say business is strong."
