... That's not a steaming pile of poop. At least Newegg was decent about RMAing this thing.

Under $150 with PS, so no suggesting some $250 Lian Li. I am a student (and I'm female so I don't need a flashy case to make up for a small penis).

i love my microATX cases - slightly larger footprint than a standard case, but they take up less space overall and they're very portable

The P182 and 900 look like the two best for around $100, but I wanted to see if anyone had used them and liked them. So hard to judge quality on teh intarwebz.

I have the P-180 and it is more than an awesome case. It does look a bit like a monolith though, kinda huge but very soundproof and the airflow is outstanding.

The P-182 is the improved/tweaked version. Very good things have been written in its honor.

is it really as soundproof as everyone says it is?

i get so tired of hearing the fucking fans in my case

i'll buy one if it is.

I have a 900. Great airflow, reasonably silent with the fans at medium. Lots of wire clutter(unless you know wire origami), no psu or dust filters for the fans.

^^yes, i have a P180 too and it's freaking awesome, there's (3) 120mm fans
[larger fans = less noise = more airflow = cooler temperature]
of course it also depends on what PSU you get as those can be the nosiest part

P180 & P182 get my vote

i'd recommend an Antec Earthwatts or Enermax Liberty for PSU

^Are you kidding? I'd never buy a PSU as part of a case, ever.

Uh, the 900 has a 200mm on top, 2 120s on the front, and a 120 on the rear plus room for another 120 on the side, so it's gonna be cooler and only slightly noisier because it has so much more open space...

So is there any reason other than noise to get the P182? Because I seriously doubt there'd be that much noise difference and I honestly don't care about it and long as it's quieter than a small jet.

The case design is superb, the PSU sits in its own compartment to keep heat away from your CPU/GPU, and the HDD bays are removable for easy installation/swaps. There are 2 exhaust case fans and 1 intake in the front, plus one to move air in the lower compartment, also the front fans have air filters to catch most of the dust from air intake.

don't forget the cold rolled steel side panel and the rubber grommets for the hard drives and the rubber trim around the PSU to reduce vibration noise, external rear mounted fan control (p182), motherboard tray with cable organizers (p182)

i mean if you want a gamer case that looks like a jet and has lights and a clear side panel then go with the nine-hundred it's rated just as good as the P180, but if you want a clean look that's a little quieter and less flashy, go P180/P182

Okay, the P182 also has a promo code for $30 off, bringing it to $60 shipped so that made my decision.

Now I just gotta get a power supply.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the P-182. If only they had been on sale when I was looking for a case, I would have been all over it.

basically they took the comments i made about the p180 and made the p182.

i would have preferred waiting and buying the new and improved version.

the p182 is a nice case.

make sure you look at your motherboard layout on where the 24/4pin connections are made to see if you need a 24-pin or 4-pin extension cable for your case (they're cheap)
