what would be some trades you guys would make if you were the ad and college sports allowed trades?

my first move would be to offer duke a trade. jj hickson for nolan smith.

that would likely be accepted but if it was declined i would make a quick phone call to our man jay wright up in philly and go for their freshman pg fisher.

then in football i would first try to find a solid qb in a deal for brown or baker there are many teams with 2 pretty good qbs and no good hb.

atsur made mccauley better. $$ is sure to re-energize the franchise and make him even better than that as well as grant fells and everyone else along with himself. He just wants to win a championship before he retires and is ready to finally play with a solid frontcourt.

that trade is better than what the mavs did. it turns our weakness into a strength giving us arguably hte best starting lineup in america and frees up caproom of guys who really werne't doing much. we went from the worst pg to the best in the country maybe yet we lost no major contributers who could really mess with us?

as to the future

i dont like cosnters attitude. we are proven to be better off without him and it just means more pt for ben and jj. costner at the 3 won't work.
smith wasn't getting in front of ben or jj and next year you can pickup another javi anytime

so the year after making a deep run at a title here is the price we pay

alright well if costner, and tracys upside seem more valuable to you than the chance of replacing javi with one of the best pgs/players in the country all while keeping our best 4 players and having a chnace at the skylimit then be that way.

If college had trades, State would definitely be the "struggling big team" that would give up a couple reserves and a role player starter for the big awesome guy from a smaller school, and then the trade would blow up in our faces and we'd be even worse than before.

Singletary really isn't a great pure PG even. He gets 6.0 assists per game but also turns it over 4.3 times a game. A 1.4/1 A:TO isn't very good.

There are 6-10 PGs off the top of my head that I can name that are having better seasons running the show than Singletary is.

nobody said anything about whose putting up numbers. we're talking talent level. $$ obviously doesn't have anybody like douglas roberts/dorsey shipp/love or ratliff/gordon to pass it to. he has to force stuff every game. put him on any of those teams ncstate and he will have all kinds of assists to hickson mccauley grant and fells.

trade collison to uva and i gurantee his numbers aren't good. Maybe gordon or rose but they aren't as experienced and aren't even tradable.

morso great team defense tahn any one player but if i had to point to one player it would be that guy thats on the pistons and the year before maybe the guy on the pistons as well as and guy thats on the lakers not really collison although he is a great pg he singletary can take over any game at any time with his scoring ability as well as play d and pg. he can make any shot. meanwhile collison is a really good player on a team full of great players but ss misses reynolds helping him win the acc. this is a guy who wouldnt even play on ucla lmao.
