I really enjoyed this when I saw it in Chapel Hill tonight, and its coming to Raleigh over the next few days and is definitely worth seeing if you enjoy either Shakespeare or Shostakovich. The King Claudius theme music was so fitting, and the strings near the end were aurally stunning. Gertrude, Queen of Denmark was definitely my favorite character in this performance.

^baaah stewfoo, I had Dr. Harold for Eng 101 and that ellington / shostakovich assignment wasn't the least bit bad. I'll be at this, maybe harold will too? 2/14/2008 11:34:41 PM |

Dr. Hunt is a English professor at state who teaches a lot of Shakespeare and hamlet specifically, and he just had a book published about hamlet which I heard about when I heard him on NPR... I wonder if he'll be there? 2/15/2008 6:39:23 AM |
