naaaah don't go that far

don't be obvious about it

just kind of drop hints during conversation

if you're obvious about it they'll either a) know you're faking it, or b) think you're signal 96

do not take nitrates for chest pain while on or shortly after taking DiamondAce, as this may cause a potentially fatal drop in blood pressure.

[Edited on February 18, 2008 at 3:02 AM. Reason : also please tell EMS you're on it, don't be embarrassed, we need to know]

How about you do your civic duty and be a member of a jury if you are found eligible?

lol

but seriously, I would like to have a (presumably) college educated, reading and writing capable person on my jury if I were ever tried for a crime. I have been to jury duty and seen some of the alternatives.

But if this person didn't realize this on his own, would you still want him on a jury?

no we all just sat there from 9am till lunch at 2pm, and there were 200 of us waiting for only 3 trials
so the chance of my name being called and them noticing was very slim

*crosses fingers*

the weird thing was when i got to the courthouse, the basement is full of african americans
i get to the 6th floor jury lounge, like 99% white,
i'd like to see their criteria for picking the jury

I didn't actually have to serve mine. I really wanted to, though.

I saw a documentary about this sort of thing. Tell the judge you're in the Madden challenge for $100,000. I think they sequester you with Rachel Weisz when you do that.

i always wanted jury duty!!! now i don't think i'll ever get called. apparently lawyers (though i may never be one if i do not survive law school) like never get called because they want "average" citizens on juries. and apparently lawyers will know too much. sad!

I was called into jury duty the month after i turned 18. While there I was selected to serve on the grand jury for the next however many months it was...

I thought it was fun.

actually it would have been really cool to actually do the jury duty
like debating in the back room about the verdict,
it woulda been so phat
